Here are a few recommendations from my past clients - 

We would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Janet McCarthy
and the Prudential Team in assisting us in finding and purchasing a
wonderful home in San Diego.  We were renting a home in San Diego and
began looking to purchasing a home in the Spring of 2008.  We were not in
a rush given the real estate market and we wanted to find the right home
for our family. After looking at several homes initially, Janet was able
to understand our minimal and maximum requirements from both the home
specifications point of view, but also the financial aspects of
purchasing a home.  Over the course of a five month period we narrowed
our list of homes and began the bidding process.  We, initially, placed
two bids on Short Sales homes.  The Short Sale process is quite painful
from a buyer perspective and, we are sure, from a Realtor perspective.
Throughout this process, Janet kept us well informed as to the status and
utilized several “in-house” Prudential Services to assist in managing the
Short Sale.  Ultimately, we did not buy either of the Short Sale
properties due to various trials and tribulations. In mid-October of
2008, we found a wonderful home that was for sale directly from the home
owner’s.  Given that, by this time, Janet had all of our requirements and
financial contacts/information, we were able to quickly come to terms and
close the sale.  While frustrating at times during this five-month
period, Janet never waivered from representing our interests in a
positive manner.  In the end, we had a win-win situation in which all
parties were happy. Thanks again for your management and support

Hi Janet,

I don’t know if I have mentioned this to you or not, but it bears repeating
even if I did.

Mike and I have bought and sold two houses in the past.  This is the very
first time of these five major transactions that we have felt our agent was
working for *us*, rather protecting the interests of the other party!  It is

Janet McCarthy has been a tremendous help and support through this home buying. Looking at 

houses were fun at first until we realized all the other buyers and investors were buying homes in our 

price range. Buying in this market became extremely competitive. When we got discouraged, Janet

Janet always had our best interest at heart and never compromised on the home she knew was
